Grades were submitted at the end of last week. There will still be assignments given throughout this week, however, students will not receive grades for these assignments.
Quarter 4 report cards will be mailed home. Parents can also use parent portal to check these grades electronically. If you need access, then please reach out to the office clerks or tech team for assistance.
Third grade item retrieval is TOMORROW, June 16th, from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Our principal, Dr. Riskus, sent an email regarding this topic out to families last week, as well as an update this week. See below.
▢ Please complete the Teacher Report Card. I have gotten to give out grades all year long. Now, it's students' turn to give me a grade report. This is extremely helpful feedback for me! Thank you, students :)
▢ Join your teachers and classmates on Google Meet from 11:30am to 12:30pm.Come prepared to discuss Chapters 11-15 in the novel, “Sideways Stories from Wayside School,” by Louis Sachar.Students will not be assigned Chapters 16-30. Continuing to read the novel will be up to families/students to decide. I highly encourage you to do so! Students will have access to the novel on Epic through June 30th.
Login to your student gmail at 11:30 am. (Your gmail username and password, as well as instructions for logging into your gmail account, have been posted to your student portfolio on ClassDojo.)
In your gmail inbox, you will have a new email from Ms. Casel with the subject: Google Meet 6/15. Open this email and click on the link to join the Google Meet.
▢ Complete one session of multiplication fact practice on XtraMath. Continue to complete one session of multiplication / division fact practice on XtraMath each day until a certificate of completion is earned in each. Fact fluency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is crucial for students to have when entering the fourth grade. Continue to practice throughout the summer - I cannot stress this enough!
Third grade item retrieval is TODAY, June 16th, from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Last week, Dr. Riskus sent out an email with detailed instructions for item retrieval, as well as an email yesterday with updated times for item retrieval. I attached both emails below. Please read the instructions in detail before you go tomorrow to keep everyone safe and healthy.
If you are unable to retrieve your belongings today between 1:30 pm and 5:00 pm, then you can do so on Thursday, June 18th, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.
You do not need to return your ipad, textbooks, or any other items belonging to the school at this time, unless you are not coming back to Disney in the fall. You will keep these items through the summer break and return them when you return to school in the fall.
